Older adults are the fastest growing age group in San Francisco. By 2030, nearly 30% of the city’s residents will be 60 years of age or older. It’s a population that we have long been committed to serving. In 1999, we opened a second site to better serve our senior patients with accessible services focused on self-sufficiency. Our Senior Clinic provides comprehensive primary care for older patients and is easily accessible to the senior population living in the South of Market area. Equity Health’s Senior Clinic staff is uniquely trained to address the needs of older persons, emphasizing with dignity, independence, and long-term health.
